Things To Do In And Around Moraira.

The Marina, Moraira.

There are very good yachting marinas: Moraira / Calpe / Javea. Sandy and pebble beaches also a naturist beach. Numerous water sports including scuba diving and snorkelling. All year round golf and Tennis. Interesting and varied walking in the Bernias and on Montgo (Javea). Cycling, go-karting, horse riding and sea fishing.
There are several Theme Parks that are well worth a visit, particularly bearing in mind the younger members of the family: Aqualandia Water Park, Mundomar exotic Wildlife and Water Park, the newly opened Terra Mitica and a wild life Safari Park. Delightful garden centres for the horticulturally minded and stores called ceramicas, where you can find local pottery and imaginative gifts for friends at home.

One of the local beaches.

The nearby coastline is stunning.
Spain is culturally rich and the people warm and friendly. Various fiestas occur regularly throughout the year, don't worry if you miss, say, the Moors and Christians at Moraira, because another local town will doubtless be celebrating their own version of this festival. There is a market to visit on every day of the week including, believe it or not, boot sales, craft and flea markets. Explore the old quarters of our local towns (known as the pueblo), pass the time of day and talk to the locals and get the feel of what it is like to live on the Costas.
